Organising a wedding in your own, or rented villa requires more planning for your wedding planner, caterers etc, since neither of them is familiar with the villa, available spaces, infrastructure, accessibility, etc.

You could compare this with the difference between going out for dinner, or having a dinner party at home.

Most villa's don't have enough tables, chairs, plates, etc, nor a kitchen that is equipped to cook for a group.

And so, an external catering service must be contracted.

It's more hussle for you, since all of the guests will be arriving, celebrating, and perhaps even staying in your villa.

There may also be other restrictions, such as neighbours complaining, etc and in lot's of rental villa contracts it's forbidden to host private events and parties in the villa without specific authorisation of the owners.

You can read more about these considerations on our catering at your venue page

But if all conditions are met, and this is your preference, then a wedding in a villa can be absolutely amazing !

Imagine your villa, totally private, very intimate, perhaps in the garden, on the terrace or the pool deck.

Intimate dining with family and friends, while a catering service takes care of everything.

A wedding in the garden of your private villa

Very private, and intimate !

The wedding ceremony is held in the garden of your private or rented villa, in a beautiful wedding setting.

Prior to the wedding we have visited the villa to determine where and how it's best to place the wedding setting.

The wedding coördinator and the ushers await for the guests to be seated.

Then the (live) music starts to play, and the master of ceremony shows the guests to their proper chair

When all is ready, the musicians start playing the processional, and the bride and het father arrive.

The officiant leads the ceremony of approximatly 30-45 minutes, written especially for bride and groom.

During the ceremony some guests can do a reading, and ofcourse there is music, the Yes, I do, vows, exchange of the rings, and signing of the wedding certificate.

A professional photographer and / or videographer ensures that the wedding is safeguarded for years to come.

The ceremony is usually followed by a reception, during which sometimes also the wedding cake is cut, in Spain traditionally with a sword.

Then the guests are requested to proceed to the tables where a delicious dinner is served.

Usually a DJ is present, or live music, or an audio system is rented to connect to an ipod, iphone, ipad or other device on which a playlist has previously been created.

Especially in a private villa, we recommend the special directional sound system.
