Many wedding couples remember little or nothing of their wedding ceremony.

How often does it happen that the civil officiant, with a busy schedule, didn't have had time to prepare an original speech for the ceremony, or even says the wrong names !

In short, it's often a big disappointment.

Nothing personal, not romantic, and over and done in 5 minutes...

Not so with the ceremonial wedding celebration by Costa Blanca Events.

Which wedding ceremonies are possible?

That depends on the wishes of the couple, their nationality, country of residence and civil status.

More info can be found on the 'civil wedding' and 'church wedding "pages.

Have a look at the wedding ceremony section on our photo gallery website

What is the ceremonial wedding celebration ?

A ceremonial wedding celebration is by far the most personal option, since it's written specially for you.

The seating plan for the ceremony is subject to wedding etiquette, which your wedding planner designs based on family relations, and functions during the ceremony, and is placed at the entrance of the wedding setting.

Meanwhile a second wedding coordinator is with the bride, and when he gives the signal that the bride is ready, the other wedding coordinator asks all guests to take their seats. Only then the groom will take his place.

Then the processional music starts to play, everybody stands, and the bride, usually accompanied by her father, makes her grand entrance.

Then the groom sees his bride, usually for the first time, everybody is requested to sit down again, and the ceremony begins.

What makes the ceremonial wedding by Costa Blanca Events so unique ?

When bride and groom create their guest list in Yoep-P, our online wedding planner system, guests are invited to login to the system to plan their attendance to the wedding.

When doing so, they are requested to answer a few questions, about the childhood, studies, career, first contact, life together, proposal, etc... of bride and groom.

We then use that information, to write a personal ceremony.

What are the different parts of the ceremony ?

First we welcome bride and groom, parents, close family, members of the wedding party and all other guests, then

the ceremony really starts.

Personal part of the ceremony

This important part is written especially for bride and groom, based on the answers on the questionnaire given by their guests. It includes the "who", the "when", "where" and the "why" of the wedding. During this part there is room for short personal input of the guests.

Unity candle ceremony

Two guests, close to the couples heart, usually both mothers are asked to light a candle.

These candles are later used by bride and groom to light their unity candle. This candle is taken home according to tradition, should be lit each year on their wedding anniversary.

Signing of the wedding certificate

Bride and groom, and their witnesses sign the wedding certificate, which is part of a wooden frame. It's a wonderful reminder of the wedding ceremony, but also a beautiful decorative piece for the home.

Exchanging rings

Then it's time for the rings, handed by a ring bearer or by the officiant.

We adapt the ring holder to your wedding theme, a cushion, a sea shell, a wooden trunk, etc.

Love lock ceremony

A symbolic lock on the relation of the newly weds.

Butterfly ceremony

Bride and groom release beautiful butterflies just before they leave the wedding setting.

Truly fairytale style !

Recessional

Then the officiant ask everyone to stand, the song chosen by bride and groom starts to play, and then they leave the wedding setting, followed by their guests. Nowadays, throwing of rice is no longer allowed, so we've found a great alternative, which looks spectacular on the photos.

You can find all info, descriptions, photos and prices in Yoep-P, our online wedding planner system which makes it very easy and stress free to plan your dream wedding in Spain.

The wedding blessing abroad,  the highlight of your wedding day !

Exchanging wedding vows

After the personal part we proceed with the official part of the ceremony, with the reading of the statutory provisions and obligations of marriage. The bride and groom can write their own vows, search for original vows on the Internet, or just limit their vows to "Yes, I do"

Closing words

Then it's time for the closing words by the officiant, to congratulate the newly weds, and to wish them a happy, prosperous life together.

Time capsule

The certificate also includes a time capsule, a memory of the wedding and cerremony, which can only be opened at their first wedding anniversary.

Other parts of the ceremony

In addition to the above parts of the ceremony, you can order additional parts, such as ;
